I’ve come back around to Mash-Off and my opinion this time is the same as it was the first time: Santana deserved it.
I also find it funny that people refer to it as Finn ‘outing’ her; if you watch that scene back, no one even stops to listen to them. He doesn’t try to make sure people hear him. Everyone keeps walking past in the hall like nothing’s happening.
I’m not exactly being articulate here, but…there are just so many problems with this view that Finn committed the ultimate act of bullying or something that I want to scream.

Uh, NO, you self-satisfied bitch. Your teacher (to whom you probably shouldn’t be speaking in that tone of voice) was neither drinking nor drunk during a performance OR during school time, and most importantly IS A LEGAL ADULT and thus can do whatever the fuck he wants (within the confines of the law) in his spare time.
That the show used this line (and had Will so readily agree with it) filled me with a kind of rage I hadn’t felt since suddenly-a-feminist!Quinn’s ‘women still make seventy cents to the dollar’ line (also vaguely directed at Mr. Schue, as though he were somehow responsible) back in season one.

I think I’m one of the only people who thought this was Perfect.
Kurt didn’t get in. Yes its SAD I’m not saying that its not BUT its REAL, it shows that life isn’t a fairytale and things don’t always work out!! Yes i want Kurt to succeed i want him to have everything but just think about how much more Kurt is going to PUSH now!!
THIS. This is REAL LIFE, people. Having a hard life doesn’t make you entitled to things. Having talent doesn’t mean you’ll always achieve your dreams. Regardless of your race, your gender, your orientation, sometimes life just BLOWS. But this is NOT the end of Kurt’s story!
